Arguably the most modern of Central American cities, Panama City boasts a shimmering skyline of glass skyscrapers.
Spend the 7th (Mon) exploring nature at Metropolitan National Park. There's lots more to do: make a trip to Panama Canal, get to know the fascinating history of Casco Viejo, get outside with Ancon Hill, and snap pictures at Bridge of the Americas.

Quebec City, Canada to Panama City is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Traveling from Quebec City in May, expect Panama City to be much warmer, temps between 36°C and 29°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Tue) so you can travel to Colon.

Founded in the 1850s by Americans building the country's first railroad, Colon is now one of the largest duty-free ports in the world.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Wed): contemplate the long history of Fort San Lorenzo. Keep things going the next day: steep yourself in history at Gatun Locks, then enjoy breathtaking views from Centro de Observacion de la Ampliacion, and then enjoy breathtaking views from Observation Centre Canal Expansion.

You can take a train from Panama City to Colon in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. In May, plan for daily highs up to 37°C, and evening lows to 29°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Thu) so you can travel to Bocas Town.

The colorful and relaxed Bocas Town has a welcoming atmosphere, with the modestly sized urban area showcasing typical Caribbean clapboard houses and home to a mixed community from across the world.
Go for a jaunt from Bocas Town to Bluff Beach to see Playa Bluff about 30 minutes away. Spend the 11th (Fri) among aquatic life with a scuba or snorkeling tour. The adventure continues: admire the natural beauty at Finca Los Monos Botanical Garden, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Estrella, look for all kinds of wild species at Dolphin Bay Preserve, and stroll through Boca del Drago.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from Colon to Bocas Town takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of shuttle and flight; or fly. While traveling from Colon, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Bocas Town, ranging from highs of 32°C to lows of 32°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Sun) to allow enough time to ride a ferry to Isla Bastimentos.
