Explore Halifax's surroundings by going to Clam Harbour Beach (in Clam Harbour), Fundy Tidal Bore Adventures (in South Maitland) and Peggy's Cove Lighthouse (in Peggy's Cove). An hour's drive from Halifax's international airport, Luneburg boasts both colorful buildings and a colorful history, as well as status as a World Heritage Site.
Venture out of the city with trips to Graves Island Provincial Park (in Chester), Shelburne (Dory Shop Museum, Shelburne Museum Complex, &more) and Beach Meadows Beach Park (in Brooklyn).
