Brisbane, Australia to Auckland is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of train, bus, and flight. The time zone changes from Australian Eastern Standard Time (Queensland) to New Zealand Standard Time, which is usually a 2 hour difference. When traveling from Brisbane in December, plan for slightly colder days in Auckland, with highs around 20°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 20°C. On the 3rd (Fri), look for all kinds of wild species at Paihia Harbour, explore and take pictures at Waitangi Treaty Grounds, and then surround yourself with nature on a nature and wildlife tour.
