On the 2nd (Thu), take in the dramatic natural features at Colle del Gianicolo, then get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, and then contemplate the long history of Rione Parione. Keep things going the next day: admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon, then delve into the distant past at Colosseum, then make a trip to Roman Forum, and finally delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill.
