Get a sense of the local culture at Vatican Museums and Borghese Gallery. Let the collections at Sistine Chapel and Capitoline Museums capture your imagination. The adventure continues: admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon, steep yourself in history at Roman Forum, make a trip to Trevi Fountain, and delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill.

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Galleria dell'Accademia and Pitti Palace are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore hidden gems such as Abbazia di San Miniato al Monte and Museo Nazionale del Bargello. There's still lots to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, admire the striking features of The Baptistery of St. John, see the interesting displays at Uffizi Gallery, and ponder the world of politics at Palazzo Vecchio.

You can take a train from Rome to Florence in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or fly. Traveling from Rome in June, Florence is slightly colder at night with lows of 59°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Sat) to allow time to travel to Palermo.

The capital of Sicily, Palermo was founded by the Phoenicians under the name of Ziz.
On the 9th (Sat), admire the natural beauty at Palazzo dei Normanni e Cappella Palatina, explore the different monuments and memorials at Catacombe dei Cappuccini, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Monreale. On your second day here, look for all kinds of wild species at Riserva Naturale Orientata dello Zingaro.

Traveling by flight from Florence to Palermo takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and ferry; or do a combination of car and ferry. Traveling from Florence in June, Palermo is a bit warmer at night with lows of 67°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 11th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel to San Teodoro.

On the 12th (Tue), enjoy the sand and surf at Cala Brandinchi and then stroll through Lu Impostu Beach. On your second day here, kick back and relax at Spiaggia dell' Isuledda and then tour the pleasant surroundings at La Cinta.

Getting from Palermo to San Teodoro by combination of flight and bus takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of ferry and car. Traveling from Palermo in June, plan for a bit cooler nights in San Teodoro, with lows around 61°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Venice.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Porta della Carta and Peggy Guggenheim Collection. Do some cultural sightseeing at Basilica di San Marco and Scrovegni Chapel. Step out of Venice to go to Padua and see Basilica di Sant’Antonio - Basilica del Santo, which is approximately 52 minutes away. There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Canal Grande, see the interesting displays at Museo Ebraico di Venezia, take a stroll through Cannaregio, and admire the masterpieces at Gallerie dell'Accademia.
