Budapest

Budapest ©
You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Get some historical perspective at Fisherman's Bastion and St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika). Do some cultural sightseeing at House of Terror Museum and Andrassy Avenue. There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Hungarian National Gallery (Magyar Nemzeti Galeria), ponder the world of politics at Hungarian Parliament Building, contemplate the long history of Dohány Street Synagogue, and look for all kinds of wild species at Sas Hill Nature Reserve.

Plan my trip to Budapest with suggested itineraries provided by Inspirock.
