In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Sat): explore the historical opulence of Castello Sforzesco, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Duomo di Milano, and then admire the striking features of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Mexico City, Mexico to Milan is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Central European Standard Time, which is usually a 7 hour difference. Traveling from Mexico City in June, expect Milan to be a bit warmer, temps between 33°C and 20°C. On the 26th (Sun), you'll travel to Turin.

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.

Lyon, France — 2 nights

Lyon is a historical city with a vibrant cultural scene as the birthplace of cinema, the silk capital of the globe, and the second biggest Renaissance city following Venice.
On the 27th (Mon), examine the collection at Musee Miniature et Cinema. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Tue): get to know the fascinating history of Vieux Lyon, make a trip to Traboules du Vieux Lyon, and then walk around Parc de la Tete d'Or.

Traveling by car from Turin to Lyon takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. When traveling from Turin in June, plan for somewhat warmer days in Lyon, with highs around 30°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 18°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 29th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Geneva.

You can drive from Lyon to Geneva in 2 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. In June, plan for daily highs up to 28°C, and evening lows to 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) to allow time to fly to Zurich.

The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.

Keep things going the next day: contemplate the long history of Nymphenburg Palace, admire the striking features of Frauenkirche, then don't miss a visit to Marienplatz, and finally contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Church.
