The largest and most populous city in New Zealand, Auckland combines a rich history and thriving contemporary culture in an abundance of museums, art galleries, and performance venues.
Shop till you drop at Of Hand & Heart and Ponsonby. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like St. Patrick's Cathedral and Howick Historical Village. Explore Auckland's surroundings by going to Orewa (Orewa Beach & Orewa – Te Ara Tahuna Estuary Cycleway), Warkworth (Tawharanui Regional Park, Pohuehue Waterfalls, &more) and Matakana (Matakana War Memorial & Morris & James).
