Taking a central place in the country of Cameroon, the capital of Yaounde represents a hub for expats, foreign embassies, and trading.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Musee Ethnographique des Peuples de la Foret and Benedictine Museum of Mont-Febe. Get in touch with nature at Mefou National Park and Caves Akok Bekoe. The capital of Gabon and home to almost half of the country's residents, Libreville differs from many African cities, with paved roads, clean streets, and luxurious residences.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Hassane II Mosque and Cathedrale Saint Pierre. Popular historic sites such as Notre-dame de Lourdes and St Marie Cathedral are in your itinerary. The oldest city in Equatorial Guinea, regional capital Malabo represents a monument to Spanish colonial architecture, mingled with modern buildings commissioned since decolonization.
Start off your visit on the 9th (Tue): pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia de San Fernando, explore the wealth of natural beauty at The Malabo National Park, and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Santa Isabel. On your second day here, don't miss a visit to La Casa Verde and then enjoy the sand and surf at Arena Blanca.

Protected from the Atlantic by sand spits and barrier islands, Lagos quickly grew into a mega city due to its location, and currently operates one of the continent's largest and busiest ports.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Freedom Park and The Cathedral Church of Christ. Red Door Art Gallery and Black Heritage Festival are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lagos: Lekki (The Henna Place & Eleko Beach).
