Step off the beaten path and head to Snoqualmie Falls and Sky View Observatory. There's still lots to do: browse the eclectic array of goods at Pike Place Market, admire the landmark architecture of Seattle Public Library-Central Library, stroll through Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, and admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass.

The tiny town of Friday Harbor is the largest village on the San Juan Islands, and it fits within just 2.6 km (1 sq mi) of space.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Tue): add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour, then see the interesting displays at The Whale Museum, and then relax in the rural setting at Pelindaba Lavender Farm. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Lime Kiln Point State Park Interpretive Center, make a trip to English Camp, and then immerse yourself in nature at Stuart Island State Park.
