You can fly from Zurich to Geneva in 2.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a train. In December, daily temperatures in Geneva can reach 6°C, while at night they dip to 0°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Interlaken.

Interlaken

Nestled between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz in the heart of the Jungfrau region, Interlaken became popular for its proximity to the mountains and lakes of the Bernese Oberland region.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Interlaken: Grindelwald-First (in Grindelwald), Bern (Rose Garden (Rosengarten), UNESCO-Altstadt von Bern, &more) and Central Sport (in Wengen). Traveling from Geneva in December, things will get little chillier in Interlaken: highs are around 1°C and lows about -4°C. On the 28th (Tue), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can take a train to Zermatt.
