Daegu — 2 nights

The fourth-largest city in South Korea, Daegu sprawls out across a wide, flat valley overlooked by a sacred Buddhist mountain.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Daegu Duryu Park, Jukdo Market and Homigot Sunrise Plaza. Start off your visit on the 22nd (Thu): take in the spiritual surroundings of Donghwasa, then walk around Apsan Park, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Seomun Market, and finally don't miss a visit to 83 Tower. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: don't miss a visit to Homigot Sunrise Plaza, browse the eclectic array of goods at Jukdo Market, and then walk around Daegu Duryu Park.

You can take a train from Seoul to Daegu in 2.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. In December, Daegu is a bit warmer than Seoul - with highs of 8°C and lows of -1°C. You'll have a few hours on the 24th (Sat) to wrap things up before traveling to Busan.

Busan — 3 nights

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
Your day by day itinerary now includes BIFF Square, Jagalchi Market, Oryukdo Skywalk, and other attractions you added. You can take a train from Daegu to Busan in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In December, daily temperatures in Busan can reach 10°C, while at night they dip to 0°C. You will have some time to spend on the 27th (Tue) before leaving for Goheung-gun.
