One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Explore Seoul's surroundings by going to Korean Folk Village (in Yongin), DMZ Haemaru Village (in Paju) and MMCA - National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (in Gwacheon). Spend the 3rd (Sat) exploring nature at Bukhansan National Park. Pack the 26th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. There's much more to do: get engrossed in the history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, head off the coast to Nami Island, explore the activities along Cheonggyecheon Stream, and make a trip to N Seoul Tower.
