Iași is the largest city in eastern Romania and the seat of Iași County. Visit Palace of Culture and St. Sabbas the Sanctified for their historical value. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Sinagoga Mare din Iasi and Saint Nicholas Church. There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Golia Monastery, take an in-depth tour of Muzeul Universitatii Alexandru Ioan Cuza, admire the landmark architecture of Metropolitan Cathedral, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Barnovschi Church.
