Very much a town with an emphasis on the tropical lifestyle, Airlie Beach offers exotic surroundings with palm trees and charming, sandy beaches.Waterskiing & Jetskiing has been added to your itinerary. Take a break from the city and head to Scuba & Snorkeling and Airlie Beach Lagoon. We've also included these beaches for you: Catseye Beach and Horseshoe Bay. When in Airlie Beach, make a side trip to see Mother Beddock Rock in Bowen, approximately Bowen away. There's more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Boathaven Beach.

Daintree is a settlement in North Queensland 111km north of Cairns and 56km from Port Douglas, Queensland. On the 23rd (Sat), take some stellar pictures from Walu Wugirriga Lookout, view the masterpieces at Floravilla Ice Cream Factory, and then hit the best photo ops around with an inspiring photography tour. Here are some ideas for day two: get to know the resident critters at Daintree Wild Zoo, identify plant and animal life at Daintree Mangroves Wildlife Sanctuary, and then stroll through Wonga Beach.
