Saint-Tropez is a town, 100km west of Nice, in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region of southeastern France. Get outdoors at Plage de Pampelonne and Plage de l'Estagnol. You'll get in some beach time at Plage de Sylvabelle and Escalet Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Saint-Tropez: Le Lavandou (Plage de Cavaliere & Plage de Jean Blanc). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Plage de Gigaro and stroll through Plage des Canebiers.

Milan, Italy to Saint-Tropez is an approximately 4.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or take a train. In August, plan for daily highs up to 38°C, and evening lows to 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) so you can drive to Aix-en-Provence.

On the 7th (Tue), make a trip to Hotel de Caumont - Art Centre, then see the interesting displays at Granet Museum, then admire the striking features of Maison de Santé Saint-Paul de Mausole, and finally get engrossed in the history at Site Archeologique de Glanum. On your second day here, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathédrale La Major, take in the spiritual surroundings of Abbaye Saint Victor, examine the collection at Fort Saint-Jean, then see the interesting displays at Site Memorial du Camp des Milles, and finally get to know the fascinating history of Vieil Aix.
