Taxco de Alarcón is a small city and administrative center of a Taxco de Alarcón Municipality located in the Mexican state of Guerrero. Start off your visit on the 15th (Sun): take in the dramatic scenery at Mil Cascadas, then make a trip to Zocalo, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Santa Prisca de Taxco. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 16th (Mon): examine the collection at Museo Casa de Las Lagrimas o Casa Figueroa, then contemplate the long history of Ex Hacienda de El Chorrillo, and then Head underground at Rio subterraneo Chontalcoatlan.

Probably one of Mexico's best-known beach resorts, Acapulco came into prominence in the mid-20th century, when it became a getaway for Hollywood movie starts and European millionaires.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Barra Vieja Beach and Playa Revolcadero.
