Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Have a day of magic on the 2nd (Tue) at Walt Disney World Resort. Have a day of magic on the 28th (Thu) at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There's still lots to do: get in on the family fun at SeaWorld, make an unforgettable trip to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, make a splash at Discovery Cove, and play a few rounds at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf.

Dallas to Orlando is an approximately 4.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone difference moving from Central Standard Time to Eastern Standard Time is 1 hour. Traveling from Dallas in July, expect nights in Orlando to be about the same, around 75°F, while days are slightly colder, around 91°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 4th (Thu) so you can catch the flight to Sanibel Island.

Sanibel Island — 6 nights

Take a trip to Sanibel Island if you like pretty sunsets and luxurious resorts.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sanibel Island: Cape Coral (Spas & Southwest Florida Military Museum & Library). There's much more to do: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Isabel Catholic Church, let little ones run wild at Sanibel Community Playground, and buy something for everyone on your list at Periwinkle Place.
