Experience remote island living in Sado, a city in Niigata Prefecture encompassing all of the inhabited areas of Sado Island.
On the 2nd (Sat), take a stroll through Shukunegi, then examine the collection at Sado Nishimikawa Gold Park, and then take an in-depth tour of Sado Legend Hall. On the next day, stroll through Toki no Mori Park, then take in the waterfront activity at Senkakuwan, then contemplate the long history of Historic Relic Sado Gold Mine, and finally go for a walk through Ogura Senmaida.

Start off your visit on the 4th (Mon): hit the slopes at Akakura Onsen Ski Area. Keep things going the next day: step into the grandiose world of Joetsu Takada Castle triple turret, then get engrossed in the history at The Japanease Memorial Museum of Skiing, and then fly down the slopes at Suginohara.
