New York City — 7 nights

Big Apple

Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. For shopping fun, head to The Met Cloisters or Chelsea Market. Get out of town with these interesting New York City side-trips: Philadelphia (National Constitution Center, Philadelphia Museum of Art, &more), Van Cortlandt Manor (in Croton on Hudson) and Meadowbrook Farm Market (in Wappingers Falls). There's still lots to do: take a stroll through Dumbo, stop by Greenwich Village, shop like a local with SoHo, and take in panoramic vistas at Empire State Building.
