Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sun): admire the landmark architecture of Bou Inania Medersa and then see Multi-day Tours. You can take a bus from Fes to Chefchaouen in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Rabat.

Keep things going the next day: admire the landmark architecture of Royal Palace of Rabat, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Russian Orthodox Church, then steep yourself in history at Kasbah des Oudaias, then make a trip to Complexe artisanal Oulja, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedrale Saint-Pierre.

Traveling by car from Chefchaouen to Rabat takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and train; or take a bus. In August, daily temperatures in Rabat can reach 23°C, while at night they dip to 23°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Thu) to allow enough time to take a train to Casablanca.

Essaouira

The laidback town of Essaouira, known for its forceful trade winds, attracts Moroccan and foreign tourists alike with its sweeping beaches and atmospheric, labyrinthine medina, a World Heritage Site.
Start off your visit on the 25th (Sun): take in the waterfront at Port de Pêche d'Essaouira, then take a stroll through Medina of Essaouira, then make a trip to Essaouira Ramparts, and finally browse the eclectic array of goods at Essaouira Fish Market. Keep things going the next day: find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, stop by Boutique de Commerce Solidaire AFBK et Cours de Cuisine, and then trot along with a tour on horseback.
