Haiti's second city, Cap-Haitien offers an atmosphere at odds with what you'll find in the capital.
On the 15th (Tue), step into the grandiose world of Sans Souci Palace, then make a trip to Citadelle Laferrière, and then steep yourself in history at National History Park - Citadel, Sans Souci, Ramiers. On your second day here, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedrale Notre Dame de Cap Haitien, then gain insight with A Paradise Cove Escape and Haitian Village Experience, and then steep yourself in history at Heros de Vertieres.
