Get some historical perspective at Cathedrale Notre-Dame and Musee du Debarquement Utah Beach. Memorial de Caen and Pegasus Memorial (Memorial Pegasus) will appeal to museum buffs. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Caen: Remains Mulberry Harbour (in Arromanches-les-Bains), Pointe du Hoc (in Cricqueville-en-Bessin) and Omaha Beach (in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer).
