A trip to Banos, a relatively small town in the picturesque Andean highlands, ensures plenty of chances for outdoor activities like horseback riding, hiking, climbing, canyoning, and mountain biking.

Galeria Aymara and Maprae are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Appreciate the collections at Maki-Art Gallery and The Angelique Art Gallery. And it doesn't end there: tour the pleasant surroundings at Galapagos Beach at Tortuga Bay, see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, browse the exhibits of Galeria Exotico Ecuador, and identify plant and animal life at Reserva El Chato.

You can do a combination of flight and ferry from Cuenca to Puerto Ayora in 6.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus, flight, and ferry. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Sat) early enough to catch the ferry to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
