It's the mild climate and calm seas of Pula that draw visitors to the southernmost point of the Istrian peninsula, but the city's ample Roman architecture is a key reason they stay.

An hour boat ride from Split on the island of Brac, Bol boasts a charming old town, pebble beach, and great windsurfing conditions. Historical charm abounds here in the form of stone houses, narrow pedestrian streets, and historical attractions marked with panels.
Visit Murvica Beach and Zlatni Rat Beach (Golden Horn) for some beach relaxation. Get some historical perspective at Supetar cemetery and Mirje. Explore Bol's surroundings by going to Sumartin Beach (in Sumartin) and Lovrecina Bay (in Postira). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Paklina Beach and get to know the fascinating history of Golden horn from above.

The Croatian island of Hvar serves as a picturesque location for a Mediterranean holiday, with a range of offerings from quiet coves to a lively medieval town.
Relax by the water at Dubovica and Sveta Nedilja. Take a break from the city and head to Mlini Beach and Milna. Go for a jaunt from Hvar to Jelsa to see Tomic Winery about 40 minutes away.
