Formerly a sleepy fishing village, the beach resort town of Kuta now represents one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations.
Step off the beaten path and head to Balangan Beach and Suluban Beach. We've included these beaches for you: Melasti Beach and Bingin Beach. Explore Kuta's surroundings by going to Blue Point Beach (in Ungasan), Off-Road Tours (in Seminyak) and River Rafting & Tubing (in Denpasar). It doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Geger Beach Nusa Dua Bali and pause for some photo ops at Ground Zero Monument.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates to Kuta is an approximately 12.5-hour flight. You can also fly. The time zone difference moving from Gulf Standard Time (GST) to Central Indonesia Time (WITA) is 4 hours. When traveling from Dubai in July, plan for colder days in Kuta, with highs around 34°C, while nights are a bit cooler with lows around 28°C. Often overlooked as nothing more than a place to catch the ferry to Lombok or a fast boat to Gilis, Padangbai has a laid-back charm of its own.

Amed — 2 nights

A snaking coastline and quaint, sleepy fishing villages characterize Amed, a stretch of shorefront with seven villages in Bali's east.
Start off your visit on the 20th (Wed): see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour and then kick back and relax at Jemeluk Beach. On the next day, kick back and relax at Amed Beach, admire the natural beauty at Taman Tirtagangga, and then see the vivid underwater world at USS Liberty Shipwreck.

The small fishing village of Pemuteran, just off the west coast of Bali, has become a popular tourism destination among domestic and international visitors for its scenic, pristine beaches and vibrant local community.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Fri): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, explore the gorgeous colors at Menjangan Island, and then head outdoors with Wonderful Menjangan.

Nusa Penida — 2 nights

The bounty of pristine white-sand beaches and turquoise lagoons bordered by emerald green hills, unique cliff formations, and colorful reefs is what draws most travelers to Nusa Penida.
Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): see some colorful creatures with Surya Nusa Penida Tour, then kick back and relax at Kelingking Beach, and then take an unorthodox tour of Giri Putri Cave. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Mt Batur and River Rafting & Tubing. Get outdoors at Sekumpul Waterfalls and Zipline. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ubud: Jatiluwih Green Land (in Tabanan) and Climbing Tours (in Kintamani).
