Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
On the 12th (Fri), see the interesting displays at Queensland Museum & Sciencentre, then admire the masterpieces at Gallery of Modern Art, and then walk around Roma Street Parkland. Lismore is a city in northeastern New South Wales, Australia and the main population centre in the City of Lismore local government area; it is also a regional centre in the Northern Rivers region of the State. Let the collections at Ballina Naval & Maritime Museum and Lismore Regional Gallery capture your imagination. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Bexhill Open Air Cathedral and Ophir Reserve. Venture out of the city with trips to Minyon Falls (in Bangalow), Yamba (Clarence River Lighthouse & Pippi Beach) and Spooky Beach (in Angourie).
