Asti is a city and comune of 76 164 inhabitants (1-1-2017) located in the Piedmont region of northwestern Italy, about 55km east of Turin in the plain of the Tanaro River. For shopping fun, head to Serravalle Designer Outlet or Vicolungo The Style Outlets. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and La Bollente. Explore Asti's surroundings by going to Cittadella di Alessandria (in Alessandria), Borgomanero (Azienda Vitivinicola Fontechiara & L'antico Borgo di Borgomanero) and Piazza Ducale (in Vigevano). There's lots more to do: soothe aching muscles at some of the top local wellness centers, take in the spiritual surroundings of Sacro Monte di Orta, contemplate the waterfront views at San Giulio Island, and explore the historical opulence of Castello di Pralormo.

Expect a daytime high around 65°F in April, and nighttime lows around 51°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Mon) so you can travel back home.
