A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Visit Plaza de España and Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza for their historical value. Do some cultural sightseeing at Royal Alcázar of Seville and Museo De Bellas Artes De Sevilla. There's much more to do: take a stroll through Barrio Santa Cruz, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise du Divin Sauveur, contemplate the long history of Casa de Pilatos, and admire the landmark architecture of Torre Giralda.

Madrid to Seville is an approximately 3-hour train ride. You can also fly; or drive. Traveling from Madrid in January, things will get somewhat warmer in Seville: highs are around 17°C and lows about 7°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sat) so you can go by car to Granada.

Granada boasts numerous well-preserved examples of exquisite Moorish architecture, not the least of which is the Alhambra, an ancient citadel and royal palace.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Alhambra and Nasrid Palaces. Get some cultural insight at Albayzin and Royal Chapel of Granada. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Granada: Nerja (Playa de la Alberquilla & Playa del Molino de Papel). And it doesn't end there: steep yourself in history at Mirador de San Nicolas, take in nature's colorful creations at Generalife, get to know the fascinating history of Plaza de los Aljibes, and don't miss a visit to Plaza de Isabel La Catolica.

Getting from Seville to Granada by car takes about 3 hours. Other options: take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Seville in January, Granada is little chillier at night with lows of 2°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) to allow enough time to drive to Cordoba.

Get some historical perspective at Mezquita Cathedral de Cordoba and Roman Bridge. Do some cultural sightseeing at Jewish Quarter (Juderia) and Historic Centre of Cordoba. Step out of Cordoba with an excursion to Castillo de Almodovar in Almodovar del Rio--about 38 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: contemplate the long history of Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos, don't miss a visit to Patios de Cordoba, take in the local highlights with Walking tours, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Casa de Sefarad.

Toledo is a World Heritage Site that embodies the complex cultural history of Spain while remaining a forward-moving, modern city.
On the 26th (Sun), don't miss a visit to Puerta de Bisagra. Keep things going the next day: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral Primada, then take a stroll through Casco Historico de Toledo, then take in the spiritual surroundings of El Transito Synagogue and Sephardic Museum, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Monastery of San Juan de los Reyes.

You can take a train from Cordoba to Toledo in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and flight. While traveling from Cordoba, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Toledo, ranging from highs of 13°C to lows of 1°C.
