Pescara is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Your itinerary includes some good beach time at Lido Sabbia d'Oro and Kailua Beach. Escape the urban bustle at La Nelide and Riserva Naturale Statale Valle dell'Orfento. Change things up with a short trip to Il Bosso in Bussi sul Tirino (about 46 minutes away). The Città del Vasto or Vasto is a town and comune on the Adriatic coast of the Province of Chieti in southern Abruzzo, Italy. Get in touch with nature at Riserva Naturale di Punta Aderci and Grotte di Pastena. Shop till you drop at Caseificio Pallotta and La Ramera - Museo Storico del Rame. Venture out of the city with trips to Termoli (Castello Svevo di Termoli & Borgo Medievale di Termoli), Il Lago di Scanno (in Scanno) and La Casa degli Appennini (in Scontrone). Shop till you drop at Brancaleone da Norcia and Piazza San Benedetto. Visiting Piana di Castelluccio di Norcia and Campo Imperatore will get you outdoors. Explore L'Aquila's surroundings by going to Borgo Abbandonato (in Calascio) and Santo Stefano di Sessanio (in Santo Stefano di Sessanio). There's much more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Santa Maria di Collemaggio e Porta Santa, steep yourself in history at Bominaco, admire the local landmark of Fontana delle 99 cannelle, and explore the fascinating underground world of Grotte di Stiffe.

Tortoreto is a coastal town and comune of the province of Teramo in the Abruzzo region of Italy.It has two distinct parts. Head to La Torrefazione snc. and Mercatino Antiquariato - Ascoli Piceno Di Brandozzi Antonio & C. Sncfor some retail therapy. Get outdoors at Tortoreto Beach and Lido Celommi. Change things up with these side-trips from Tortoreto: La Nelide (in Pineto) and Ascoli Piceno (Piazza del Popolo & Cattedrale di Sant'Emidio). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Lido Cesare, make a trip to Lungomare San Benedetto del Tronto, appreciate the extensive heritage of Grottammare Borgo Antico, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cappella gentilizia De' Bartolomei.
