Abergele is a community and small market town, situated on the north coast of Wales between the holiday resorts of Colwyn Bay and Rhyl, in Conwy County Borough. Get in touch with nature at Barmouth Beach and Pensarn Beach. Visit Portmeirion Village and St. Mary's Church for their historical value. Change things up with these side-trips from Abergele: St. David's Church (in Blaenau Ffestiniog), Dolgellau (Cader Idris & The Mawddach Trail) and Yr Ysgwrn (in Llan Ffestiniog). There's much more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Gwrych Castle, find something for the whole family at Knightly's Fun Park, explore the galleries of Conwy Castle, and stroll around Zip World Fforest.

To see traveler tips, more things to do, photos, and more tourist information, read our Abergele trip planner.

Expect a daytime high around 24°C in August, and nighttime lows around 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 28th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
