Start off your visit on the 8th (Fri): enjoy the sand and surf at Coligny Beach, then see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and finally steep yourself in history at Green-Meldrim House. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 9th (Sat): learn about all things military at Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum, then wander the streets of Savannah Historic District, then take an in-depth tour of Owens-Thomas House, and finally make a trip to River street Savannah.

Step out of Great Smoky Mountains National Park with an excursion to Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge--about 34 minutes away.
