You'll discover tucked-away gems like Glen Coe and Eilean Donan Castle. Venture out of the city with trips to Loch Affric Circular Walk (in Beauly), Highland Titles Nature Reserve (in Duror) and Oban (Oban Distillery & McCaig's Tower). Inverness, often described as the Gateway to the Highlands, is a thriving commercial and industrial center.
On the 13th (Sun), get all the information you need at Culloden Battlefield, look for all kinds of wild species at Aigas Field Centre, then get to know the fascinating history of Glen Strathfarrar, and finally step into the grandiose world of Urquhart Castle. Portsmouth is a port city and unitary authority in the ceremonial English county of Hampshire and is located south-west of London and south-east of Southampton. On the 15th (Tue), tour the pleasant surroundings at Bournemouth Beach, then get engrossed in the history at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, and then enjoy breathtaking views from Spinnaker Tower.
