The capital and largest city of Serbia, cosmopolitan Belgrade sits on the confluence of the Sava and the Danube rivers.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Skadarlija and Knez Mihailova. Get out of town with these interesting Belgrade side-trips: The Clock Tower (in Petrovaradin) and Novi Sad (Dunavska Street & Room Escape Games). There's much more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Lido Beach, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ružica, make a trip to London plane tree, and wander the streets of Dorcol.

Tehran, Iran to Belgrade is an approximately 10.5-hour combination of bus and flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Tehran to Belgrade. In July, Belgrade is a bit cooler than Tehran - with highs of 34°C and lows of 19°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 17th (Tue) so you can travel to Istanbul.
