The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Get outdoors at Lake Bohinj and Lake Jasna. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Old Town Centre of Radovljica and Church of St. Andrew. Get out of town with these interesting Bled side-trips: Mostnica Gorge (in Stara Fužina), Savica Waterfall (in Bohinjsko Jezero) and Kranjska Gora (The Russian Chapel, Vršič Pass, &more). Tolmin

Piran

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Portorož Beach and Debeli Rtič Landscape Park. Step out of the city life by going to Strunjan Nature Reserve and Svetilnik Beach. There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. George's Church, admire the striking features of Praetorian Palace, don't miss a visit to Walls of Piran, and pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower.

Getting from Tolmin to Piran by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. In July, daytime highs in Piran are 35°C, while nighttime lows are 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Ljubljana.

Traveling from Piran in July, things will get a bit cooler in Ljubljana: highs are around 32°C and lows about 17°C.
