Redmond is a city in King County, Washington, United States, located 16mi east of Seattle, within the Seattle metropolitan area. Venture out of the city with trips to Mukilteo (Mukilteo Lighthouse Park & Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour), Saint Edward State Park (in Kenmore) and Alderwood Mall (in Lynnwood). Pack the 18th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Wild Waves Theme & Water Park. There's lots more to do: tour the pleasant surroundings at Snoqualmie Falls, get your game on at iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Seattle, learn about winemaking at Chateau Ste. Michelle Vineyards, and contemplate the waterfront views at Hood Canal.

To see other places to visit, more things to do, reviews, and other tourist information, you can read our Redmond road trip planning website .

If you are flying in from Japan, the closest major airports are Seattle Tacoma International Airport and Boeing Field King County International Airport. In August, plan for daily highs up to 31°C, and evening lows to 19°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 28th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
