Krakow — 13 nights

Slavic Rome

One of Poland's oldest cities, Krakow sits at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains, its historical town center nestled on the left bank of the Vistula River.
Let the collections at Panstwowe Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau and Zamek Królewski capture your imagination. Get in touch with nature at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Grota Lokietka (King's Lokietek Cave). Venture out of the city with trips to Gora Zborow - Jaskinia Gleboka w Podlesicach (in Podlesice), Valley of the White Wiselka (in Wisla) and "Kornel i Przyjaciele" Kawiarnia-Ksiegarnia-Antykwariat (in Cieszyn). Spend the 5th (Fri) exploring nature at Pieniński Park Narodowy. There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Kazmierz The Former Jewish District, admire the striking features of St. Mary's Basilica, examine the collection at Muzeum Krakowa, oddzial Fabryka Emalia Oskara Schindlera, and hunt for treasures at Sukiennice (Cloth Hall).
