Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Get some historical perspective at Asakusa Shrine and Nezu Shrine. Kanda Myojin and Ueno District are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Take a break from Tokyo with a short trip to Kichijoji in Musashino, about 42 minutes away. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Wed) so you can go by car to Kamakura.
