At the foot of the French Alps where the river Drac joins the Isère (the lion and the serpent), Grenoble offers you tons of winter and summer activities to keep the entire family busy, like hiking, climbing, skiing, and snowboarding, as well as swimming in clean mountain lakes.
Get outdoors at Col du Galibier and Station de ski Les Karellis. You'll explore and learn at Musee de Grenoble and L'Artisan Nougatier. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Grenoble: Barrage et Site de Roselend (in Areches), Jardin des Fontaines Petrifiantes (in La Sone) and Maison d’Izieu (in Izieu). There's lots more to do: test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, delve into the lush surroundings at Foret de Saou, fly down the slopes at Mountain Twister, and see the interesting displays at Musee de la Revolution Francaise.

If you are flying in from Sweden, the closest major airports are Grenoble-Isère Airport, Chambéry-Savoie Airport and Lyon Saint-Exupéry Airport. Expect a daytime high around 28°C in June, and nighttime lows around 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
