Popular historic sites such as Colosseum and Vatican Museums are in your itinerary. And it doesn't end there: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di San Pietro, steep yourself in history at Roman Forum, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Church of St. Louis of the French, and take a stroll through Trastevere.

Chicago, USA to Rome is an approximately 13-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 7 hours traveling from Chicago to Rome.
