Kick off your visit on the 9th (Fri): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di San Pietro, admire the masterpieces at Vatican Museums, and then contemplate the long history of Colosseum. On the 10th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the world behind art at Borghese Gallery, appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza Navona, then admire the landmark architecture of Pantheon, and finally delve into the distant past at Palatine Hill.
