A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
When in Paris, make a side trip to see Palace of Versailles in Versailles, approximately Versailles away. In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Get out of town with these interesting Milan side-trips: Bergamo (La Citta Alta & Piazza Vecchia) and Leolandia (in Capriate San Gervasio). The adventure continues: pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Milano, take an in-depth tour of Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio, contemplate the long history of Castello Sforzesco, and explore the different monuments and memorials at Monumental Cemetery.

Getting from Marne-la-Vallee to Milan by flight takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or drive. Plan for somewhat warmer temperatures traveling from Marne-la-Vallee in July, with highs in Milan at 34°C and lows at 21°C. Sirmione is a comune in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy (northern Italy). You'll find plenty of places to visit near Sirmione: Lago di Garda (in Garda), Schlern-Rosengarten / Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park (in Tiers) and Bazar Lenotti s.a.s. (in San Zeno di Montagna).
