Among the world's oldest national parks, Banff National Park serves as a World Heritage-listed mecca for cyclists, hikers, skiers, bird-watchers, mountain climbers, and anyone else with a passion for exploring vast untouched wildernesses.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies and Buffalo Nations Luxton Museum. There's still lots to do: get a new perspective on nature at Banff Park Museum, view the masterpieces at Canada House Art Gallery, admire the masterpieces at Mountain Galleries at the Fairmont Banff Springs, and see the interesting displays at The Historic Luxton Home Museum.

Kick off your visit on the 1st (Tue): admire the landmark architecture of Craigdarroch Castle, then examine the collection at Royal BC Museum, and then make a trip to Empress Hotel National Historic Site of Canada.
