Berga is the capital of the comarca (county) of Berguedà, in Catalonia, Spain.HistoryBerga derives its name from the Bergistani, an Iberian tribe which lived in the area before the Roman conquest. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Santa Cueva de Montserrat and Centre Hipic Talamanca. Centre d'Interpretacio de l'Antic Comerc and Colonia Vidal will appeal to museum buffs. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Berga: Museo Diocesano de Urgel (in La Seu d'Urgell), Aigüestortes i Estany of Saint Maurici National Park (in Espot) and Playa de Ogern (in Ogern).
