Progreso is a port city in the Mexican state of Yucatán, located on the Gulf of Mexico in the north-west of the state some 30 minutes north of state capital Mérida (the biggest city on the Yucatán Peninsula) by highway. On the 1st (Sun), get outside with Luna Lunera Beach Garden, then look for gifts at Bolom Balam, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Reserva Ecologica El Corchito. On the 2nd (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get great views at Mirador Charcas de Sisal, then explore the activities along Laguna Rosada, and then explore the ancient world of Xcambo.
