The financial hub of Switzerland, Zurich is most often associated with money and banks.

Change things up with these side-trips from Zurich: Lucerne (Lake Lucerne, Bourbaki Panorama, &more) and Mt Pilatus (in Kriens). London, UK to Zurich is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also take a train; or do a combination of car and train. You can take a train from Zurich to Bern in 1.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. In November, plan for daily highs up to 10°C, and evening lows to 1°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Thu) so you can go by car to Montreux.

Mostly known for its world-renowned jazz festival, Montreux serves as a picturesque lakeside resort town on the Swiss Riviera.

Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Fri): play a few rounds at Franck Ollivier Golf Pro, examine the collection at Queen Studio Experience, then step into the grandiose world of Chateau de Chillon, and finally pause for some photo ops at Freddie Mercury Statue.
