Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Attractions like Basilica of the Sagrada Familia and Playa de La Barceloneta make great kid-friendly stops. There's still lots to do: stroll around Parc Guell, admire the landmark architecture of Casa Batllo, make a trip to Las Ramblas, and steep yourself in history at Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.

Singapore, Singapore to Barcelona is an approximately 16-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight. You can take a train from Valencia to Madrid in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. Prepare for slightly colder weather when traveling from Valencia in January: high temperatures in Madrid hover around 12°C and lows are around 2°C. You'll have a few hours on the 26th (Sun) to wrap things up before traveling to Seville.
