Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Mercato dell'Unita, Pantheon, Porta Portese, and other attractions you added. Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo and Villa Farnesina will appeal to museum buffs. Step off the beaten path and head to Trajan's Column and Chiesa di Santa Maria di Loreto.
