Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
On the 7th (Thu), examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, tour the pleasant surroundings at Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, and then make a trip to artEAST. On your second day here, kick back and relax at Alki Beach, take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, then take in the exciting artwork at Chihuly Garden and Glass, and finally wander the streets of Pike Place Market.

Huntsville to Seattle is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 2 hours traveling from Huntsville to Seattle.
