An hour's drive from Halifax's international airport, Luneburg boasts both colorful buildings and a colorful history, as well as status as a World Heritage Site.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Thu): examine the collection at Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic, then admire all the interesting features of Bluenose II, then pause for some serene contemplation at St. John's Anglican Church, and finally kick back and relax at Hirtle's Beach. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 28th (Fri): stop by Have A Yarn, steep yourself in history at Knaut-Rhuland House, then stroll through Rissers Beach Provincial Park, and finally do a tasting at Wine Kings.
